Our Free Roof Inspection

See why the Homestead approach should be the benchmark in roofing inspection

Roof Inspection contractor in Colorado Springs and Peyton

If you suspect that you have roof damage, or think that you might, the best thing to do is have it inspected for free from a local roofing contractor before you call in a claim.

Every roofer will give you a free inspection. That’s not very unique or very helpful some of the time. Homestead will give you a Free Roof Evaluation that includes a video inspection of the roof so you can see exactly what I’m seeing, and we do this at no cost to you!

The video will give you the perspective of standing on the roof and looking over my shoulder and getting my opinions and recommendations. This prevents you, the homeowner, from having simply trust the report you get from the roof inspector when he gets off your roof. It has also been proven to be very helpful for insurance companies, adjusters, agents, realtors and property managers to have access to these video reports. Also, upon request, we can also provide a scale drawing of your roof and a pitch (angle) report.

What Your Inspection Includes

In addition to inspecting your roof for hail or wind damage, we’ll provide the following at no cost to you:

Video inspection report of what we find on your roof
With a video inspection, you won’t have to go on the roof yourself. You also won’t just have to take our word for it if there’s damage. If there’s a problem on your roof, you’ll get to see exactly what we see and know whether or not you should file an insurance claim.
We inspect all visible areas of the roof, including the roof covering, chimney, flashing, skylights, roof vents, roof sheathing, fascia board, and more.

Scale drawing of your roof
You’ll know how many square feet your roof is so if you ever need that information for future insurance purposes, you’ll already have it.

List of the roof pitch on each slope
This will come in handy for you if you file a claim for storm damage. Steep-pitched roofs cost more to repair or replace, so you want to make sure that your insurance claim has this information recorded. Having the information in your files enables you to verify any claim estimates.

Elevation of your home
If your house is over 7,000 feet, Pikes Peak Regional Building requires a product called Ice & Water Shield to be put on the roof. If you need that, you’ll want to make sure that your insurance estimate takes that into consideration. It’s just one more way we empower you to work with your insurance company.

"Our replacement roof and gutter experience with Homestead Roofing was wonderful. Tracy was thorough, polite, as were his employees, trustworthy, responsive, and fair. He even let me know, if he had had the initial look at the roof, we could have waited, but with the initial inspection from a different roofer the claim had already been filed. Our roof and gutters look great! We would highly recommend Homestead Roofing!"
"It is a great experience working with this company! We never seem to have any issues that are not immediately resolved."
Homestead Roofing is fantastic! You guys did a great job, got it done on time, and cleaned up well after the job. I would give Homestead Roofing a 5-Star rating! The project manager, Steve, was great to work with.
Our project manager, Steve Moon, kept in touch through the process of getting a new roof. He has also gone above and beyond to make a gutter by our step look great!
